![]() Tucker seems to have her own daydreams of her friend's husband, and they ignite more as she steadily consumes alcohol at the party that her and her husband are attending that evening. As the man starts to consume more alcohol during the evening he even voices some of the opinions that he has about Jennifer to his wife, who does not appreciate the attention that her husband gives to their babysitter. Tucker, has some very wild daydreams of the young girl. First, the older gentleman that she babysits for, Mr. Jennifer, a young teenage girl, seems to attract all of the wrong types of admirers. While she is babysitting some wild, alcohol induced daydreams occur and they all have Jennifer cast into the leading role. Everyone gets a second chance, everyone gets the chance to turn themselves around and all kids want to feel that way.The Babysitter, a movie from 1995, stars a young Alicia Silverstone that has been cast into the role of Jennifer, a young teenage girl that spends the evening babysitting the Tucker children. ![]() When I’ve seen it now as an adult, that’s what I see: It’s a feel-good movie. “They’re so dramatic about everything and I think in her success, there’s hope. “She was relatable to a lot of teenagers who feel like the burden of the world is on them,” the actress said. Her mom has other ideas, though, and hires a live-in babysitter named Mrs. In the movie, Christina Applegate plays Sue Ellen “Swell” Crandell, a 17-year-old girl who thinks she’s about to enjoy a wild summer of freedom while her mother ( Concetta Tomei) is away in Europe with her boyfriend. Right on top of that, Rose! Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2021, but it remains a classic entry in the “accidentally killing an old lady” genre.
